Indonesian arts and culture event, ASYIK Bazaar 2018, is set to fill your family’s day with fun and flair.
ASYIK Bazaar, brought to you Sydney-based Indonesian dance company, Suara Indonesia Dance, is part of the Open Inner West Festival. The 10-day multicultural event showcases the best of the inner west, supported by the Inner West Council.
ASYIK means “fun” in Indonesian. ASYIK Bazaar is an Indonesian arts, culture, and community celebration with an impressive line-up of musicians, dancers and visual artists.
Don’t miss the special performances from Suara Indonesia Dance, Dulwich Hill Primary Poppers led by Jack Wardana, Sanggar Saraswati, Sanggar Nusantara, Bambu Balistix, IAWA Angklung, Gita Suara Vocal Group Sydney, and Jubilate Choir.
Interstate and international performers include Sanggar Sang Penari Melbourne, Kusuma Indonesia Community Queensland, Gede Eka Riadi from Canberra, Perth Indonesia Community and Sanggar Taruko Padangpanjang from West Sumatra.
