Celebrating 20 years of supporting design-led craft practices, Gaffa Creative Precinct presents ASSEMBLY, an activated exhibition and retail event shaped by a curated cohort of contemporary makers working across craft and design. With object-based works for acquisition and live demonstrations, the exhibition celebrates the processes that underpin contemporary craft practice and creative exchange.

Featuring works designed to be lived with, used and shared, the exhibition explores how crafted objects shape connection, hospitality and everyday rituals. By inviting these objects into our spaces we also welcome the stories, skills and creative communities behind them.

The exhibition acknowledges Gaffa’s history and evolution as a creative hub. As a precinct we have always resisted disciplinary boundaries, believing that meaningful cultural production occurs through dialogue between practices and can flourish beyond the white cube.
