Asia Business Events Series

Asialink Business in collaboration with the City of Sydney presents a free online Asia Business Events Series. The program aims to equip Sydney-based SMEs with key insights and capabilities to explore business opportunities in Asia. The aim is to support their economic recovery and future growth plans.

Through expert advice and guidance, Sydney SME’s will have the opportunity to participate in interactive online events.

Capitalising on e-commerce opportunities in Southeast Asia

This facilitated workshop will provide Sydney retailers with an understanding of the e-Commerce opportunities in Southeast Asia, which will ultimately support their economic recovery and plans for future growth.

Asialink Business will bring together senior representatives of leading global e-commerce enterprises, local businesses and government organisations that are keen to find out how to enter and grow in this exciting and dynamic sector via digital channels.

Outcomes for this online workshop

• Overview of e-commerce in Southeast Asian markets including FTA landscape

• Awareness of the e-commerce models available & platforms in South East Asia

• Understanding of supply chain models for e-commerce

• Awareness of the marketing elements when using e-commerce

• Understanding high-level risks when using e-commerce

• Ability to leverage diaspora communities to support business and opportunities in e-commerce
