Four large murals printed in billboard format and displayed in 7 major City of Sydney catchment areas. Using striking typography and vivid colours.
Each containing short messaging to make the individual stop and question their current situation. Most billboards function to sell advertising products or promote political causes. These murals are about taking personal responsibility for individual thought. It’s about engagement and communication.
Instead of presenting these ideas as art in conventional places such as galleries, they have been deliberately placed in normal advertising spots. Art in places of commerce, available for passing commuters to engage with, regardless of their age, race, gender, or background.
