Animal photography class

Take stunning close-up wildlife portraits.

Angela Robertson-Buchanan has partnered with Australian Wildlife Displays to create an animal macro photography workshop like no other.

These workshops bring you closer than ever to Australian native fauna. And you’ll learn more about the animals you are photographing.

Angela will teach you how to take stunning close-up wildlife portraits. Your subjects include a cockatoo, tawny frogmouth, lizard, snake, crocodile, stick insects and scorpions.

Angela will also talk about her techniques in the field and maintaining high ethical standards when you work with wildlife. She’ll explain why she doesn’t like using flash on wildlife. As an alternative, she’ll demonstrate her specially designed continuous lighting and daylight studio set-ups.

You’re guaranteed to walk away with some stunning shots, a deeper understanding of Australian wildlife and some techniques you can use in the field.

These unique workshops only happen twice a year and sell out very quickly.

Angela is an award-winning photographer and published author. She is also a dedicated wildlife carer.

Please bring a DSLR camera you’re able to change settings with and zoom or macro lens.
