Gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm

Angus Nivison is an artist living on the land, and has deep connections to the surrounding farmland and the nearby natural wonders of the gorges and waterfalls of the Northern Tablelands of NSW.

Dark chasms pierced by veils of falling water, boulders strewn amongst cascading pools and the mystery of the sun and moon obliterated by bushfire smoke or dust storms.

Layers of pigment are built up to create these paintings that belie their seeming simplicity. Indigo is transfused with white, burnt ochres with charcoal.
