In their ninth exhibition together, Sarah Gibson, Janet Kossy, Fran Munro, Penny Ryan and Sue Young show new drawings, paintings, prints and mixed media works exploring landscapes: real, reinterpreted and imagined.  Their recent works are charged with energy and ideas.

Sue Young has returned to her printmaking which has been revitalised as she experiments with printing processes.

Janet Kossy's new collages unite memory, association and random experience to create something fresh.

Alice in Wonderland inspires the latest adventures of Sarah Gibson's character Red Girl. Sarah reimagines this inner narrative through the vivid colours of oil pastel.

Landscape continues to inspire Fran Munro and Penny Ryan. Fran continues her evocative re-interpretation of the moody Cook's River landscape. With the lush complexity of a northern rainforest or the quiet of the south coast, whether in charcoal or oils, Penny reminds us of the significance and beauty of the natural landscape.

Recent Work is showing at the Shop Gallery, 112 Glebe Pt Rd Glebe from 16-25 October, open 11-6 each day. The opening of the show is on Saturday 17, 4-6.
