Join NSW Greens MLC Justin Field and Greens Senator Peter Whish-Wilson for a special screening of the acclaimed film Albatross during Plastic Free July.
Albatross is a powerful visual journey into the heart of a worldwide environmental tragedy. On Midway Island, in the Pacific Ocean, thousands of young Albatross lay dead on the ground with their stomachs filled with plastic.
Through Albatross, we experience the destructive power of our culture of mass consumption and the impact that has on the survival of the planet.
As part of this special Plastic Free July screening, we will join with local environment groups, for a Q&A to discuss what is happening in Australia and throughout the world as part of the movement away from single-use plastics and over consumption.
Now is the time that for action to reduce plastic pollution and its impact on seabirds and marine life.
