In this advanced wheelforming course, you'll develop the skills to create larger, more complex forms on the potter’s wheel and expand your throwing techniques.

You’ll be introduced to advanced methods such as coiling and sectional throwing, exploring the nuances of working with larger pieces. Ideal for students with a foundational understanding of throwing techniques, this course is designed to push your skills to the next level.

The course emphasizes mastering the management of larger amounts of clay and learning to use your body effectively to shape and manipulate your work. Remy will guide you through group demonstrations and provide personalized one-on-one instruction in a supportive studio environment, helping you refine your ability to create both tall, vertical forms and broad, low-profile pieces.

All clay is provided and selected pieces will be glazed in the final class of the term. The pieces will be fired after the term is complete, and it may take up to four weeks after your course ends for works to be available for collection.
