At our weekly training sessions, people with a disability enjoy the benefits of exercise – through walking or running – with the assistance of volunteer guides.
Achilles is a social running club and gives members the opportunity to exercise to the level of their choosing, whether it be a gentle walk of a few hundred metres or a brisk 10 km run. We train for around an hour and then catch up with each other over a cup of tea or coffee outside the Art Gallery.
Occasionally, training is relocated to Centennial Park when there is an event taking place in the Domain. This will be advised on our website.
