Aboriginal history and heritage of The Rocks tour

Commemorate NAIDOC Week with an Aboriginal history and heritage tour

Aboriginal guides will facilitate the exploration of ‘first contact’, resistance to colonisation, and its impact on the Gadigal people of the Sydney basin from an Aboriginal perspective, through stories of role models such as Bennelong, Barangaroo, Windradyne and Pemulwuy.

Develop a knowledge and understanding of local Aboriginal identity and experiences, through examining important historical events that relate to Aboriginal social and political rights.

Also in a hands-on experience at The Rocks Discovery Museum, examine a variety of Aboriginal artefacts.

2 hour tour.

Spaces are limited, please email or phone to book.
