Meet Snowflake the new mobile connection service for girls and women experiencing domestic violence or homelessness.
When

Friday 25 November from 4:30pm to 7pm

4 Voices is a charity with a mission to connect girls and women seeking change.

Our Vision is a world where any girl or woman who feels unhappy, threatened or alone can find her voice.

Simply put, we want to reduce social and digital isolation, domestic and family violence and homelessness through the power of connection.

The event is to showcase the new connection hub which is fitted with laptops, wi-fi, phones, printer, scanner, copier and coffee and tea making facilities.

Our Connection Hub is a vehicle operated by volunteers who provide empathy and support.

We started in Brisbane in 2020 but now we're launching in Sydney working alongside other service providers offering help to vulnerable Sydneysiders.

We can provide access to mobile phones, or computers. For those keen to enter the workforce or change jobs, we help with writing a resume, preparing for interview or searching for work. For those who need other support like food, housing or medical advice we can connect people to appropriate organisations.

Everyone has a need for connection to others. But needs differ. Connection can be social, digital, employment or community related. Or it can be about connecting people to others who may be able to help.

We offer this connection face to face or over the phone. Our phone support team are volunteers from all over Australia who reach out to provide a check in for people in need.

A simple chat over a coffee can be of enormous comfort - often that might be enough.
