In his practice, Purvis bush camps and paints highly energetic oil paintings that interpret the essence of the Australian outback rivers.

The work in this exhibition reflects an extended camping trip which took in the Murrumbidgee, the Darling River, Coopers Creek, the mythical Paroo and the oft-disappearing Diamantina rivers.

Join the artist for opening an drinks on Thursday 6 February. With guest speaker and renowned conceptual artist Vicki Lee.
