Lunar Lanterns
City centre Saturday 29 January to Sunday 13 February
Delight in modern technology blended with classic Chinese techniques as these magical lanterns light up Haymarket and the city centre.
Lunar Spectacular Shows
Sydney Town Hall Saturday 12 February, from 10am
Chinese, Korean, Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Mongolian and Indonesian performers share their culture with traditional and contemporary dance and music.
Covid-safe measures will be in place and bookings are essential.
Daily lion dancing performances
Monday to Thursday, 12pm and 12.30pm at Town Hall steps Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 7.30pm and 8pm at Dixon Street Mall, Chinatown
The City of Sydney’s lion dancing troupes will ring in the Lunar New Year with plenty of drumming, flamboyance and skill.
