The Early Music Collective Sydney proudly presents a night of extraordinary musical enchantment, featuring an array of masterpieces from the Baroque era. This captivating concert will showcase the timeless works of Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Philipp Telemann, Johann Schenck, Heinrich Schütz, and Dietrich Buxtehude, performed by some of the country's most exceptional musicians.

The highlight of the evening will be Bach's poignant Cantata ‘Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit’’ BWV 106, also known as Actus Tragicus, a profoundly moving composition that will transport the audience to the heart of the Baroque period. The program will also include the delightful recorder duets of Telemann, the mesmerizing viola da gamba duets by Schenck, the transcendent motets of Schütz performed by brilliant vocal soloists, and the majestic organ works of Buxtehude that will resonate through the historic walls of St Brigid’s.
