Tuesday 14 May from 5:30pm to 7pm

This event is part of Climate Action Week Sydney.

Join us for an evening dedicated to women leading the charge on climate action. Hear from leading climate changemakers, including Professor Emerita Lesley Hughes (Hon FRSB), Elizabeth Farrelly of the Better Cities Initiative, and Liz Courtney, an International Film Director (more to be announced). Get inspired by their insights and experiences as they share stories of impact and innovation.

Hosted by the WELA Sydney chapter, this event is part of Women’s Environmental Leadership Australia (WELA). WELA is a community connecting, training, and funding generations of women and gender-diverse changemakers – so that together we can transform Australia’s response to our environmental and climate crises.

We extend a huge thanks to our wonderful organisers, Monica Richter, Adri Lozano, and Blair Palese, for making this event possible.

Don't miss this opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, gain valuable insights, and join the movement for a sustainable future!

Doors open at 5:30 pm for check-ins before the discussion starts.

WELA acknowledges First Nations peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the unceded lands on which we live, learn and work. We value their ongoing connections to Country and we pay our respects to Elders past and present. WELA honours the leadership of women of First Nations and we commit to building relationships that support self-determination and the healing of Country.
