‘Super K-POP Concert Sydney 2011’ is being held on the 12th of January, 2011. With the best singers from both countries participating, the concert will take place at the Sydney Town Hall. This concert is being held in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Korea-Australia Diplomatic Relationship. Through the exchanging of traditional and popular culture between the two countries, the concert will strengthen cooperation and substantially contribute to the relations of the two nations.
The singers at the concert are not only famous singers in Korea but Asian stars. Of the many great singers in the concert include the ‘Emperor of Ballad’ Shin SeungHun who is celebrating his 20th anniversary of debut this year, group SHINee, an idol group with many famous songs across Asia, and Son HoYoung of Korea’s legendary group god, is performing at the concert.
The ‘Super K-POP Concert Sydney 2011’ is an unprecedented event in Australia. Sydney has never had so many Korean stars participating in a single concert. Along with the many governmental officials from both countries, celebrities, local citizens and also Korean-Australians are expected to attend the concert, filling up the 2000 seats and supporting the cause of the concert.
