Stories are not just found in books anymore. In these workshops for young people you will discover the exciting new world of storytelling that takes place on social media like Facebook, Twitter, Tumbir, Snapchat and YouTube.

Discover practical tools and techniques for creating online fiction, poetry and art. Set started on creative projects of your own and find out how to publish and share your work.

Stories created during the workshops will be featured at the Surry Hills Festival in September 2014.

Bring your own laptop computer if you have one, If not we can supply them.

Workshop 3: Weird Tales

Create your own alternate universe online as we discover how to use social media to tell stories of mystery, fantasy and the supernatural.
