Check out this brand new lunchtime series at Customs House Library. Keep your eyes and ears peeled as we explore different ways of interpreting ‘classic’ from around Sydney and the world. First up, we have Scenes from the Silk Road with teacher and lecturer, Heather Bentley. Spanning 1600 years, the Silk Road has many tales to tell. Many, like the role of old Afghanistan, Tibet and the Uigher, are not well known in the West. Others, like the food, carpets and burials are frankly amazing.
