Join Gangari Artist, Kathryn Dodd Farrawell, as she discusses her art display ‘Remembering’. Kathryn will speak about the art works that have been inspired from the storylines of (and before) the intervention of the Queensland Aboriginal Protection Acts 1897 that breached Aboriginal Human Rights to their lands. This event is a personal exploration of the achievements and contributions of Kathryn’s family and all Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Peoples in defending and building Australia. Kathryn was a Finalist in the prestigious Sir William Dobell Prize for her drawing in 2009 titled ‘Love Endures All Obstacles’.
