Winning architect from the Green Square Library and Plaza Design Competition
The City of Sydney’s design competition for a new library and plaza at Green Square attracted over 160 submissions from around the world. Architects and designers were inspired by the chance to shape a new town centre in Sydney and the idea that libraries are increasingly becoming our ‘urban living rooms’ – places for exploration, creativity and connection.
Join us to see the five shortlisted schemes, meet the winning architects (yet to be announced), and hear from the jury on what inspired their choice. We’ll also discuss how the design competition process continues to extract the very best results from architects.
