AIME's Strut the Streets

Since 2010 AIME (Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience) has organised Strut the Streets, an annual fundraiser to support more Indigenous kids to finish school at the same rate as every Australian child. Strut the Streets involves participants parading through the Sydney CBD in swimwear to show that we’re willing to go to any lengths to see the day that Indigenous kids finish school at the same rate as every Aussie kid.

In 2012 the target is to break the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest swimwear parade, and get 607 participants involved to help raise over $200K so AIME can expand across Australia to WA and SA and see more Indigenous kids finish school.
