One of Australia’s biggest annual comedy events, the Sydney Comedy Festival, is back for its ninth incarnation from 22 April to 11 May 2013.
For three weeks, hundreds of international and local comedians will take to stages across Sydney and beyond for the biggest festival ever.
The Festival program features performances from the finest Australian acts, the biggest international stars and the most promising emerging talent offering up everything from stand up to sketch, satire, impro, musical, absurdist, theatre, magic and kids comedy.
Included in the program is headlining acts such as Tracy Morgan, the Wayans Brothers, Jim Jefferies, Adrian Edmonson and The Bad Shepherds, Stephen K Amos, Arj Barker, Danny Bhoy, Ross Noble, Anh Do, Daniel Kitson, David O’Doherty, Margaret Cho, Jack Dee and more.
Plus performances by Superwog and Mychonny, The Kransky Sisters, Chopper, Effie, Eddie Ifft, Lawrence Leung, Axis of Awesome, Jared Christmas, Alex Williamson and many, many more.

How to get to this event:
Circular Quay is a five to seven minute walk from the Sydney Opera House. You can catch buses, trains and ferries to Circular Quay. There is also a complimentary shuttle bus designed for elderly and less mobile customers.
