On Sunday 18 November this year at 3pm, Sydney University Graduate Choir and Orchestra, under acclaimed Music Director Christopher Bowen OAM, will once again be leading a massed choir of 600 singers in an exciting performance of the glorious oratorio, Messiah, by the great German-born composer, George Frederic Handel. In 2010 when the choir last presented Sydney Sings Messiah, it was a great success and a wonderful occasion, drawing singers together from across New South Wales, interstate, and even overseas.
Generously supported the City of Sydney and Westfield Sydney the performance will take place in the magnificent, Sydney Town Hall as part of Christmas in the City of Sydney 2012.
Come and enjoy the grandeur and joy of Handel’s Messiah!
