Chemical drop-off day
Chemical drop-off day – Saturday 6 July 2013
Come along to Park Depot at Barwon Park Road in St Peters between 9am and 3.30pm with any of your leftover household chemicals and hazardous waste. From here it will be safely recycled or disposed of by experts. It’s an easy way for you to protect the environment and make your home safer.
The chemicals and other products listed below will be accepted at the drop-off:*
• Solvents and household cleaners
• Paints and thinners
• Pesticides and herbicides
• Poisons
• Aerosols
• Pool chemicals
• Motor oils, fuels and fluids
• Acids and alkalis
• Car batteries
• Household batteries
• Hobby chemicals (e.g. photographic chemicals)
• Gas bottles
• Fire extinguishers
• Fluorescent lamps
• Light globes
• Smoke alarms

Please note only household quantities are accepted. Remember, computers, mobile phones, cameras and other electronic goods are not accepted at this collection – keep them until the next e-waste drop off day.
