Australia’s much-loved children’s group, Lah-Lah, makes its City Recital Hall Angel Place debut this July school holidays with their fun and interactive show Lah-Lah’s Musical Wonderland

The effervescent Lah-Lah and her delightful band perform for the first time at City Recital Hall Angel Place this July school holidays in the enchanting show Lah-Lah’s Musical Wonderland in two incredible performances on Monday 9 July, 10.00am and 12.00pm.

Lah-Lah’s Musical Wonderland is a wonderful live performance featuring Lah-Lah, who loves to sing and dance, her best friend Buzz the Bandleader, and a band of four – Lola the dancing double bass, Squeezy Sneezy the allergic piano accordion, Mister Saxophone and Tom Tom the drums. Together they take audiences on a unique and interactive musical journey combining entertainment and education.

Suitable for children up to seven years in age, Lah-Lah’s Musical Wonderland is great fun for kids and adults alike.

The show includes all original Lah-Lah songs as featured on Nick Jr., including Lah-Lah’s Big Live Band, Brush Your Teeth and Shake It Like This, as well as songs from their new album – I Like To Wash My Hands (and Wipe Them On My Pants), Boom Chaka Baby and Lah-Lah’s groovy version of The Band On The Bus (Goes Jam, Jam, Jam!).

In Lah-Lah’s Musical Wonderland Buzz the Bandleader has lost something special. Tom Tom the drums, Mister Saxophone, Squeezy Sneezy the accordion and Lola the dancing double bass join bubbly Lah-Lah to help Buzz on his hunt to find his lost possession.

Following the performance the audience will have the unique opportunity to meet the cast and learn more about the instruments in an up-close and personal meet and greet.

Lah-Lah is a contemporary and child-focused five piece chamber ensemble formed by experienced performers and music educators Mark and Tina Harris in late 2008 with the album Shake It Like This.

All the performers in Lah-Lah are seasoned musicians in their own right, and all are experienced in entertaining and educating pre-school aged children.
