Welcome to Let’s Talk Shop 2012. Our aim is to continue to provide you with insights to help your business grow and evolve to meet the market’s ever-changing needs.
The 6 August seminar features keynote speaker Rebekah Campbell, who can an only be described as a human powerhouse. Rebekah is the founder of bright new social media start-up Posse.com. She previously built one of Australia’s largest music management companies Scorpio Music, developing the careers of soaring talents such as Evermore, george, Lisa Mitchell, Matt Corby and Alex Lloyd. As well, Rebekah works tirelessly for not-for-profit organisations such as Campaign Action (a progressive grass-roots political training and advocacy organisation) and Chapel By The Sea (through Bondi Beach Uniting Church, developing the marketing for projects including their local women’s refuge, homeless shelter,
two kindergartens and an op shop!)
In addition, Jon Bird, a Sydney retail specialist with over three decades experience in retail marketing communications will be joining our line up of speakers for our next Talking Shop Seminar on Monday evening. He will focus on what’s important to retailers, examining what has and hasn’t changed in the retail landscape and how best to keep up to speed with those changes. Jon is also Chairman of Octomedia, the publishers of ‘Inside Retail’, and writes regularly for the publication.
The Lord Mayor Clover Moore MP will be joined by speakers from the event organisers for Vogue Fashion Night Out (6 September 2012), who will detail how your business can get involved and benefit from some of Sydney’s unique events in the upcoming months.
