Wool Modern

The campaign’s patron is HRH Prince Charles and has the objective of promoting the use of wool as a fibre of choice due its premium, versatile and sustainable properties. The exhibition is a celebration of modern, innovative and avant-garde use of wool throughout creative industries in the 21st century and will run for one week at the historic Pier 2/3, Walsh Bay (24th April – 1st May).
The exhibition will feature bespoke pieces created by Australian fashion designers including Collette Dinnigan, Ellery, Akira Isogawa, Josh Goot and Romance Was Born and also three prominent local interior designers – Sarah King, Emma Elizabeth and Henry Wilson. The Australian designers works will be show-cased next to custom designed pieces by huge international names including Vivienne Westwood, Galliano, Burberry, Rick Owens and Alexander McQueen in a truly spectacular and unique exhibition for Australia. The exhibition has been curated by London-based Charlotte Lurot, who will be presenting the exhibition in Sydney and whose portfolio of work includes the Fashion in Motion series with the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
