This course provides a comprehensive introduction to psychology as an academic discipline whose primary focus is the understanding of human behaviour. Students study the nature and methods of psychological enquiry, theories of personality, learning, social psychology, intelligence, clinical psychology, psychobiology and human development, as well as developing some of the study skills necessary for university study.
