As well as the studio productions of One for the Ugly Girls by Tahli Corin and Heaven by Kit Brookman, NovemberISM will also play host to a series of one (sometimes two, sometimes five) night stands including Noëlle Janaczewska’s Good With Maps and I Contain Multitudes by the ever inspiring writers collective, 7-On.
I’m not sure I’m an adult yet is a showing of work developed and devised through the Lock Up with the support of Queen St Studio showing in the last two weeks of November, and Applespiel will also be joining us later in the month. Our late night slots will finish up with a charity event in celebration of facial hair and healthy prostates with MO-vemberism.
But wait, there’s more…Saturday’s will feature panel discussions on Writers and Directors and Auto/Biography in Theatre which should stoke some interesting conversation as well as Clarkey’s Workshop on Creativity.
Sundays are the perfect time to settle in for a play read fresh from the page, and we’re kicking off with the multi-award winning play Do Not Go Gentle… by Patricia Cornelius. Philip Kavanagh’s little gem Plain Jane and Tim Spencer’s latest work Show Me Yours I’ll Show You Mine will be a double bill midway through the month, followed by Rebecca Clarke’s Belongings.
All of this, and we’re still slotting in last minute shows, lining up more awesome workshops and chatting with amazing artists about what they want November to be. So make sure you check in often, and don’t miss a thing.
