You might remember the Bake Sale collective from their ‘Monthly Friend’ events, with performance, video, sound, zines and cakes in artist-run spaces and public places. For the exclusive purpose of boosting your sense of self-fulfilment, they now turn their attention away from art and towards your life. This four part program offers learning experiences in the areas of LOVE, CULTURE, ENTERTAINING and SMARTS. At the end you will be a better person, with a certificate to prove it.
Part 2: CULTURE – Get art. Two up-and-coming curators pull apart their passions for contemporary art and sound art. Then, instead of putting them back together, they will reassemble them into an intertextual bricolage and you will totally get it.
