For the first time in Sydney, the internationally recognised Sony World Photography Awards will arrive on our shores for a month long exhibition of the globe’s best photographers at the iconic Sydney Opera House.The annual Sony World Photography Awards by the World Photography Organisation are the largest international competition of their kind.
The Western Broadwalk of Sydney Opera House will see a plethora of work from finalists and highly recommended artists which capture the inspirational theme of ‘Speed of Life’. For those in search of some local inspiration, the event will continue inside to the Western Foyers, displaying a range of Australian finalists from the Sony World Photographer Awards.
In conjunction with the exhibition, there will also be free photography classes to help inspire and sharpen Sydneysiders’ photography skills.

How to get to this event:
Circular Quay is a five to seven minute walk from the Sydney Opera House. You can catch buses, trains and ferries to Circular Quay. There is also a complimentary shuttle bus designed for elderly and less mobile customers.
