ParaQuad NSW is one of the main organizations that specialize in the niche care and support of spinal injury and this annual event showcases not only the work of ParaQuad NSW does in the community but also highlight accessibility issues.
This year, Wheels for a Day will include a Wheelie Amazing Race, an activity that incorporates a number of mental and physical challenges highlighting accessibility. Teams of four people will compete with some participants experiencing the challenges from a wheelchair, assisted by people with a spinal cord injury and occupational therapists.
