Head on Photo Festival 2011 exhibitions
The Rocks will host two photography exhibitions as part of Sydney’s biggest celebration of photography, the annual Head On Photo Festival.
The exhibitions, Discovering Country – NSW Pathways and Saltwater Country celebrate the distinct natural environments of New South Wales and the stunning Dampier Peninsula in Western Australia, respectively.
Discovering Country – NSW pathways will showcase some of the State’s most beautiful natural destinations including The Rocks, Sydney Harbour National Park, Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, Booderee National Park, Montague Island Nature Reserve and Royal National Park.
Saltwater Country brings together a mixture of social, political and environmental issues through the work of photographer Sally Mayman and artist Dale Kentwell.
The exhibition is part of the 2011 Head On Photo Festival.
