Her artistic works of photography has been awarded, among many others, by the Jumex Foundation in 2001 for “A World separated by Borders”, the Mexican National Council for the Arts (CONACULTA) for “In the name of God” in 1999, and by the Arizona Humanities Council, “Diversity of Immigration” in Arizona, USA 2009. Her photos has been largely exhibited in more than 30 solo exhibitions including, El Centro de la Imagen (Mexican Centre for the Image) of the Mexican National Institute of the Arts; El Museo José Luis Cuevas, Mexico; the Embassy of México in Denmark; the Tucson Museum of Art, Arizona, USA; the Arizona State Museum; The Center for Mexican American Studies & The College of Liberal Arts of The University of Texas in Austin, Texas, USA, among many others.
Her work is part of the book “160 Años de Fotografía en México” (160 years of photo in Mexico) published in 2005 by Océano, Fundación Televisa, Centro de la Imagen & CONACULTA as part of the history of the Mexican contemporary photography.
In 2000 Platt published The Solo Book “En el Nombre de Dios” edited by HighTech Editores, México, D.F.

The official opening will be at the Instituto Cervantes from 6:00pm – 8:00pm and presented by Her Excellency Mrs. María Luisa López Gargallo, Ambassador of Mexico. ONLY BY INVITATION.
