It will be beer lover’s heaven at Helm Bar in May as it celebrates a special month dedicated to boutique beer.
Boutique Beer Month will see Helm showcase of unusual and locally made boutique lagers, ales and ciders selected from some of our top breweries. Varieties including Beez Neez, Fat Yak, Little Creatures, Leffe Blonde, Big Helga, Bohemian Pilsner Redback, Dogbolter – Dark Larger, and many more will all be offered at just $7 each! There will also be a weekly “Beer & Fare” special, whereby one of the boutique beers will be paired with a special dish that also uses that beer as a key ingredient. Dish examples include Mussels with Bohemian Pilsner Beer, and a warming Beef stroganoff with Fat Yak – keep in touch on Helm Bar’s Facebook page to see what the evolving specials will be.
There will also be a special ticketed event to be announced for the end of the month, with a beer expert talking and tasting guests through the qualities of some of the best and most unusual boutique beers around.
